The Blog is getting Popular ?

• So this blog is getting HIT and in the hundreds everyday 😯
• This used to be seasonal phenomenon. Suddenly one day there would be hundreds or thousands of hits. If I recall correctly someday I have seen 2000 hits 😮 and then suddenly nothing for a few months.
• Since say a couple of months I see access from all over the world, about 50 to 200 direct accesses per day.  Check the attached access graph and the countries accessing from.
• Earlier, I used to think it was basically somebody trying to mirror the content and maybe pass it as their own. But then one needs to only access it once.
• So the fact that somebody is daily accessing the various posts over time is very intriguing to me. Mostly I assume these are automated bots that are accessing my pages. But then who and why would they do ? I have started to believe now, though against logic, that maybe the accesses are an attempt  to increase the access counter of the content. And these bots access the Blog all over the world. Given that my content is not that common or relevant for the average person and also the presentation style is more documentary and plain, why would anybody from the corners of the world want to access it. People/Bots/Access from Peru, Chile, Nepal,etc is puzzling indeed.
• So assuming that the blog is indeed being accessed for encouragement(?), it is time to thank the Blog access entities profoundly for their action.  Much appreciated indeed !
